Daily UI Challenge

The Daily UI Challenge is a way for designers to expand their creative skills by coming up with different UI designs for the daily theme. In doing this challenge it allows me to design interfaces for different industries and platforms just to show that I'm flexible in my skills. That said the only drawback of this challenge is that the designer is not given a problem to solve, but only design requirements. So this encourages me to first think of a problem or flow to base my designs on instead of just tossing in the requirements.

006 - User Profile

This is a simple and clean user profile for an end user in the sneaker marketplace community. There are many directions to go regarding information and how much to add. But wanted to focus on avatar and significant data on the surface first.

009 - Music Player

I'm a bit of a hip hop snob, so when I came up with this layout I felt it was important for the listener to have access to song lyrics and the samples used for the song playing. With that it helps you understand what the artist is saying, and with the samples feature discover the DNA of the music.

001 - Login Screen

First assignment is a login screen. "Hint: Design a sign up page, modal, form, app screen, etc." That said I wanted to think of an app that would appeal to me. I like sneakers, so I came up with the app 'Just4Kickz' where sneaker aficionados can buy, sell, or trade sneakers in a safe environment.  My goal was to make the sign up process as simple as possible to get new users in the door.

002 - Credit Card Checkout

"Hint: Design a credit card checkout form or page. Don't forget the important elements such as the numbers, dates, security numbers, etc."

For this I stuck with the sneaker app theme. I wanted to keep the design clean and to the point. The challenging parts involved thinking of the process before the actual checkout screen. There are so many directions to choose from with this. But because this is a sneaker app that involves purchasing only one item at a time, it made it easier to keep options simple.
